__CH SONYMER KYNOS (KANE)

Tributes must be made to Kane who did so much for our breed.
Kane was born in quarantine, his mother having been brought over from Italy by Anne and Gordon Latimer.
He won his 1st CC at the Scottish Working Breed aged just 8 months of age
He gained his second at LKA and a third CC was awarded at Crufts on his first birthday.
Kane was the youngest Maremma to become a Champion
He ended his career with 36CC’s, sire of 9 Champions BOB at Crufts 5 times
He also won in 1995 the Dog World Top Stud Dog of the Year for all Breeds which was an all time achievement.
Kane was a TV star , taking part in two Pedigree Chum commercials and a TV Commercial for the Liver Insurance Company
He died at 13 years old and even though it is three years since his death the Maremma world still remembers him for his temperament, good looks and the interest in the Maremma world he alone generated.
